Note the difference between animation and video. Whereas video takes continuous motion and breaks it up into discrete frames, animation starts with independent pictures and puts them together to form the illusion of continuous motion.

There are many software applications that enable you to create animations that you can display on a computer monitor.
For example I used the Illusion animation studio software to create my film animations and also used video pad editor professional to finish and edit the finished video animations film clips with the music added. Also for the finished film I used royalty free music and art used royalty-free graphics Gifs, for animation production.
Animation refers to the recording of any image which goes through changes over time to portray the illusion of motion. Before the invention of film, the depiction of figures in motion through static art existed as far back as the Paleolithic. In the 19th century there were several devices which successfully displayed animated images.

The individual artists creating the animation. They are the person who decides how a model will move, what a scene looks like, and also what software and tools will be used for production.
